Today, I am here to bring your attention to a very important article of clothing that needs no introduction: these leather flares from Tobi. For those of you who have managed to keep up with my posts since my blog’s inception (I salute you), you certainly know about my adoration for leather and flared pants.
The idea of leather taking on a flared silhouette is one I wish I had come up with myself. We tend to associate the fabric with clothes that are tighter on the body. Once it assumes the form of bell-bottoms, the leather becomes somewhat looser and untethered, giving the legs extended length and room to breathe. Best of all, you just MIGHT (dress codes are relative) be able to get away with wearing them to work. Leather pants without the flare? Not as likely.
While I could’ve styled this look as strictly “night on the town,” I wanted to show you guys how these pants can effortlessly go from day to night in a flash. For starters, this wrap blouse is carefree chic and slouchy in fit, making the half-tuck essential for maintaining a refined, yet sultry ensemble.
Next, a pair of patterned heeled boots will up the ante and give your outfit its much-needed “Okay, I see you, girl” factor, especially if you’re sticking to a monochromatic look. Top it all off with a small bag and cute statement earrings, and you’ll be all set to leave the office and head straight to happy hour without having to make a pit stop at home to change!
A special thank you to Tobi for gifting me with the top and pants. As always, all opinions expressed are my own.
