Fringe With Benefits

First and foremost, I would like to preface this post with a quick shoutout to a bonafide fashionista: my sister, Tori. No one (not even Kendall or Gigi) has inspired me to instigate a complete wardrobe overhaul more than Tori, and I credit her with my evolving fashion sense. So thanks, sista friend!

Now, for the main event. It is my sincere pleasure to introduce you all to the current standout piece hanging in my closet. Dripping in fringed glory, this sweater is another Poshmark bargain that I just couldn’t say “no” to. I like to think of it as a charming throwback to the free-spirited ’70s, but with added glam.

I chose to mix textures by pairing the sweater with leather skinnies and faux suede, high-heeled booties. The sweater softens the edgier bottom half of the ensemble, but it still manages to take its rightful place as the outfit’s true statement piece. For the finishing touch, I threw in a quilted, chain-linked crossbody bag. Quilted handbags are a time-honored classic (bless you, Chanel), and they are a surefire accessory to polish your look.
