Leather Weather

While I’m a proponent of all four seasons, I can’t say I’m complaining too much about the warm winter we’ve been having. This just means I have more time to sport my fall favorite: leather!

I am a self-proclaimed moto fanatic. For me, leather exemplifies edginess, boldness, and fierceness. Best of all, you can dress it up or down, depending on your style. This black leather jacket from Nasty Gal is one of my favorite outerwear pieces, and probably the most versatile. For one thing, it’s black, and if you know me and my minimalist ways, you know I can’t go a day without wearing something black in my ensemble. I also love that it’s an all-day piece. If I can wear something frequently, then it’s a worthwhile purchase.

I purchased these chunky heeled boots on Poshmark, a mobile app designed for people to buy and sell clothes, usually at discounted prices. Quite a steal. Made by one of my favorite brands, Topshop, these white leather shoes complement the patchwork style of the above denim skirt to evoke a vintage-type vibe.

I LOVE this tote from Lulu’s. Another leather favorite and only $40!! Perfect for day or night, casual or professional, this handbag can propel any outfit to its fullest potential.
