Well, it’s safe to say I can now add “experiencing New York Fashion Week firsthand” to my NYC bucket list. Yesterday, my sister Tori and I made the trek down to Pier 16 at South Street Seaport to attend Tommy Hilfiger’s ‘Tommy Pier’ carnival, made open to the public Saturday after a largely successful show Friday night. The festivities promoted Hilfiger’s recent collaboration with Gigi Hadid, whom we all know has increasingly paved her own path as a fashion icon, both as a model on- AND off-duty…and someone all of us millennial females wish we could be at one point or another (don’t even try to deny it, ladies).
What cooler way to herald the launch of this new collection than with a spectacle complete with classic carnival eats, games and rides, as well as pop-up shops displaying clothing (available for purchase) from the Tommy x Gigi line? Take a look for yourself!
Side note: to all of the haters hurling side-eyes at me for wearing white after Labor Day, the door is this way —->.
