When you think “warmth”, your mind immediately jumps to sweatpants and faux fur jackets, the sound of your fireplace crackling and countless hours spent hiding under the covers until late April. Sounds pretty nice right about now, doesn’t it?
More importantly than that, we should strive to derive warmth from within.
The kind of warmth that comes from helping a homeless individual seek shelter during New York’s biting winter chill.
The kind of warmth that comes from falling-out-of-your-chair laughter while catching up with old friends over a couple of strongly mixed margaritas.
The kind of warmth that comes from saving up your money to fund your first ever Euro trip.
The kind of warmth that comes from being so in love that when you try to describe being in love, your heart lights up like a firefly in the night.
In a world currently rife with coldness and uncertainty, I hope you choose warmth from the simplest of moments, no matter the season.
