SWEET BLOG OF MINE

Snake and Bake

February 13, 2019 Leave a Comment

If you’ve stuck around with me and this blog enough, then you know I’m not the biggest wearer of prints and patterns. Slowly but surely, I am trying to change that, because fashion is too much fun to just be sporting black all the time (college Sami would slap me in the face for saying that). However, if there is one print I am all in for, it’s the snakeskin trend.

As of late, I have come across several iterations of snake print during my daily online window shopping (“I got issues, you got ’em too.” – Julia Michaels). From color to slight differences in pattern, the print can immediately turn the most drab or average outfit into something spectacular and coveted by the masses.

I especially love snake print because, similarly to leopard print, it is timeless. It is sexy. It is wildly fun. It is a statement print that needs no introduction. I will be wearing it forever, even when I am being wheeled around in the nursing home.
