Like most, if not all New Yorkers, I have reached my peak of frustration with this “spring’s” weather. 40 degrees in mid-April? What gives, man?!
I’m not here to bitch about Mother Nature’s wrath, though. Despite this unfortunate mood swing of hers, I am not going to let it bleed into my upcoming spring plans; most notably, my trip to London with Jacob.
In less than two weeks, Jacob and I will be embarking on our first major vacation together to London. The city has been #1 on my travel bucket list for the longest time, and being able to experience it with my best friend makes it all the more riveting and special. Plus, it will give me the opportunity to expand my blog on a global scale, with the advent of my first travel guide on Sweet Blog of Mine. Stay tuned for that, post-trip!
Additionally, I am looking forward to the delightful sips and hangs at rooftop bars, long strolls around the city and weekend excursions along the East Coast to visit friends. Although fall is, without question, my favorite season, there is something about the arrival of spring that breathes a particular airiness into the world; the kind that comes from dancing away the dregs of colder days and coming out lighter, freer and more certain of a greater tomorrow.
