As you can probably gather from this post and my last, I’ve developed a strong affinity for donning dresses as shirts. Just think, if you’re ever in that stage of your life (which, let’s face it, is probably once a day) where you feel like you have ~nothing~ to wear, you can remove that light and airy summer dress from your dusty storage bin and put it to better use as an acceptable fall or winter top.
For this outfit, I decided to pair a black-and-white striped turtleneck dress with (SURPRISE) my favorite pair of jeans. The bell-bottoms have made quite a few appearances on the blog, and they only get more fun to wear with time. Like I’ve said before, I have a knack for combining the minimal and modern with a few vintage timepieces every now and again.
While the leather jacket spices up the street style nature of the look, the nude heels punctuate its overall chicness. I desperately needed a solid work heel that I could also wear during a weekend stroll around the city; needless to say, Zara has been coming in hot throughout AW16.
